Build a new colony in the wilderness by both improving the land on the map, and by growing your population in your deck. Do you have strategic skills to balance sustenance with growth? Infrastructure with specialisation? Try your hand on this minimalist prototype that mixes hex-grid strategy with deck-builder tactics; a fusion of games Stacklands / Cultist Simulator and Terrascape / Dorfromantik.

CONTROLS

  • Mouse to play
  • WASD to move, QE to zoom, ENTER to end turn
  • ESC to restart (or continue after end screen)

TIPS:

  • Most things in the game have a tool tip with useful information - your entire deck is listed under population.
  • Build your first neighborhood close to both plains and forests.
  • Make sure you always have at least 1 Citizen, otherwise you won't be able to get new cards.
  • Working pops provide resource every turn until you give them a new job.
  • Pops are far more productive on improved land than on wilderness, but don't expand faster than you can afford to.
  • Build new neighborhoods to expand your maximum population and the number of cards you draw every hand.
  • Three consecutive turns of negative food or materials will lead to your colony being abandoned.

it's a little hard to keep track of citizens past a certain point, have you considered using a tally or a mouseover tip?

The population total on the top left of the screen lists all your cards. But making it a tally rather than a list is definitely an option.

ah, thanks for that, should be enough!
